CENTRAL TABLE
Information Station
The central table hosted our 'Information Station', which held feedback forms, stationery and scavenger hunt and IPA code-breaking activities for children.
Volunteers were on hand to answer questions, help complete forms and give out free sweets!
What Did and Didn't Work
-
IPA code-breaking activity was very popular.
-
Free sweets encouraged visitors to complete feedback forms.
-
Volunteers required no additional training.
-
Creation of materials was straightforward.
VS
-
Scavenger Hunt was unnecessary because stations were all close by.
-
Feedback forms were too big (A4) and some responses were not specific to the festival.
-
Table was messy and cluttered.
Improvements
-
Decrease the feedback forms to A5 size to increase table space.
-
Add a 'tick-box' question to the feedback form to ask which station(s) visitors attended.
-
Reduce the IPA code-breaking activity to two sheets of paper by having separate 'code' and 'question' sheets, with answers on the back.
-
Remove the Scavenger Hunt.
-
Continue to give out free sweets!
